Communication Module
The SCMI-01.4 communication module allows the control of the stand-alone ASGE-XXBI or ASGE-XXBI-3 outdoor unit from the UNI SPLIT series, which uses the R32 refrigerant. It allows you to set these modes:
- autonomous pressure control for cooling (evaporation temperature control)
- autonomous temperature control for cooling and heating (as a slave unit)
- limiting goal temperature to -10 °C
- slave unit (0–10 V) for cooling and heating
In the slave unit mode, it works as a converter between the control system and the outdoor unit. The output of the outdoor unit compressor is controlled via the serial line according to the voltage of 0 to 10 V from the external control system. The module is powered by AC voltage of 220–240 V / 50 Hz. To control the outdoor unit, the control module is equipped with 9600 bps serial communication channel complemented with power supply circuits to power the outdoor unit communication circuits. To control the other devices, the module contains three relays with selectable features and a 230 V / 2 A NO (normally-open) contact. In addition, the module has two digital TTL inputs, one voltage input 0–10 V / 100 kΩ, one current input 4–20 mA and two inputs for 10 kΩ resistance thermometers (ß = 3435).
